READY TO BECOME A VIRTUAL EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT?

 LET'S GET GOING...

WE LOOK FOR
EXTRAORDINARY PEOPLE.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO WORK AS A VIRTUAL EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT AT GOOD LINE?

If you’ve worked as a PA or EA to a CEO or Executive level team, Board secretary, Marketing Manager or have similar expertise, and have at least 8 years of professional experience, then we want to hear from you.

You’ll need the drive, passion, and discipline to work as a Virtual Executive Assistant, based remotely from your clients.

We’re pretty picky about who joins Good Line NZ, however the right mix of talent and experience is a great place to start!

SO...

  • Have you had 8 years of experience working for various corporations or associations within New Zealand?

  • Have you been an EA/PA before or held an Executive level support role?

  • Do you find time management is second nature to you. You hit deadlines head-on?

  • Are based in New Zealand and have the right home/office set up to work as a Virtual Assistant?

  • Have a positive outlook and a proactive attitude to get things done.

  • Are a friendly person who has patience and pride yourself on standout customer service

  • Do you really want to become a Virtual Assistant? It isn't a stop-gap, it's a career choice

  • Do you have flawless communication skills and speak English to a native level?

  • You are naturally tech-savvy and love a good automation setup!

  • Have 20+ hours a week capacity during normal office hours and are happy to grow with a client over time.

  • Do you hold a valid New Zealand permanent residency visa or full citizenship of New Zealand?

WHAT DOES A EA/VA DO?

The role of an Executive ‘Virtual Assistant’  (EA) is exactly that: working to assist someone – typically a small business owner or executive level management – but virtually (i.e. remotely).

So that means we all work remotely and we all do work that has a focus on helping our clients better leverage their own time, by delegating what they can to you as their dedicated EA.

A Executive Virtual Assistant will usually have a broad range of skills, often built from a background in administration, executive assistance, project management, day-to-day marketing support, and similar such “hands-on” roles that keep businesses moving forward.

IS THIS A SELF-EMPLOYED OPPORTUNITY?

Yes. Everyone who works with us is on a self-employed basis. You sign a Subcontractor agreement with us upon joining.

We don’t offer part-time/full-time jobs which see you join our team as an employee.

You will also be responsible for paying your own tax and contributions.

HOW MANY HOURS CAN I WORK?

We offer a flexible opportunity that our team of EA's adores.

GOOD LINE Executive Assistants generally work between 40 and 100 hours per month.

There is no set limit to the number of clients you can support, as long as you can sustain the high standard we expect, but you must be able to commit to a minimum of 10 hours a week for your application to be considered by us for one of our EA/VA jobs.

We’ll ask you more about your availability during the application process.

I'M NOT BASED IN NZ. CAN I STILL APPLY?

No, you must be living and have worked in New Zealand previously to apply to join our team. There are no exceptions to this rule.

We promise our clients to provide VAs who know the NZ market, understand how NZ businesses work together, and are native English speakers living in Aotearoa. This is important to our clients, so unfortunately we will be forced to decline your application if you don’t meet this criteria.

LET YOUR EXPERIENCE WORK FOR YOU.
